About Charly Dove
I’m a senior marketing communications specialist with 25 years of experience across the full marketing mix gained both agency and client-side. In 2021, I joined the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) as Marketing & PR Manager. DSWF is a highly effective wildlife conservation charity that funds key conservation projects in Africa and Asia. Prior to DSWF, I was at Zoggs International Ltd where I was responsible for heading up PR, social media, events, outreach programmes and partnerships for campaigns, product launches and promotions.
My agency experience includes Group Marketing Director at STEAK, part of the global Dentsu Aegis network, and 8 years at award-winning creative agency Haygarth heading up new business and marketing. I’ve also run my own marketing and new business consultancy helping both brands and marketing communications agencies with their marketing and new business strategies. My early career was spent in sales and marketing positions at the likes of Virgin Group and News International.
In between working part-time, I manage the multi-award nominated PODcast and POD Travels blogs. PODcast is a parent and lifestyle blog with POD Travels covering family travel. I was a UK Blog Awards Finalist in 2014, 2016 (twice), 2017, 2018 and 2019 in the photography category.
We collaborate with brands and agencies in lots of ways from content creation and management, creative partnerships and photography projects to ambassador roles, press trips and relevant product reviews. We also write sponsored posts that are relevant to our family and audiences as well as guest posts on selected websites.
