Exploring her creativity is a role POD takes very seriously – she loves drawing, sticking and painting. This week she coloured between the lines for the first time.
The people she draws freehand now have a face, arms and legs. Pictures of Daddy are often a cross between Tin-Tin and a potato. Mummy is a smaller version of Daddy but with hair just on one side of the head. POD’s interpretation of herself is usually egg-shaped. Everyone must have socks so their feet don’t get cold.
POD celebrated her third birthday on Christmas Day. She received an array of new paint and craft kits which have been tested out over the festive period.
POD also got the opportunity to make a monster. Aptly named “monster” he has four eyes as two just weren’t enough!
What a fab monster! And I just adore that CUTE little concentration face and mouth in the photo of her colouring! xx
Thank you very much – she concentrates so hard when she’s working π
LOL thank you very much – she’ll love to hear that π
Clever girl, fab creations, love the concentration on her face #PoCoLo
Thank you Chantelle – she does do concentrating well π
Bless her, girls seem to be so much better at accuracy. Love her monster #PoCoLo
Thank you Mary – she gets a lot of practice at nursery and home. It’s not to say she doesn’t make a mess too π
I love POD, so glad everyone has socks, there is nothing I hate more than cold feet!
The four eyed monster is fantastic, such a clever girl π
The socks are really important! Quite funny too given she spends a great deal of time taking hers off! She did so well with her monster, we must make some more π
Aww so cute! Well done POD! Little T has yet to learn to colour within the lines. But like you loves painting too π
POD isn’t colouring in-between the lines all the time though. Just when she has some patience! I can just imagine T loves painting – it’s such good fun π
She is adorable, I love the concentration in that top pic! The one of her painting makes me squirm just a little bit….I’ve never been good with mess! x
Thank you Suzanne. Painting is great but very messy – washable paints are awesome though. All cleared up in minutes π
Love this – monster is fab π The painty hands with such a fierce look of concentration are good too! #PoCoLo
POD takes creativity very seriously as you can imagine! This was her first monster, the second only has a body so far…!
What a gorgeous little creative monkey she is! I am very naughty and lazy when it comes go crafts… MUST DO BETTER! lol xx
POD absolutely loves being creative! Give her a pot of things to stick and she’s well away – she loves the glue most of all!
Thats so cool – We love googly eyes, we made snowmen this week ….or rather I finished it off and he spent an hour happily cutting up card π
That sounds like such good fun – we have a snowman to make too. For a competition at nursery π
I love watching the concentration of a preschooler drawing and I love watching M and how the characters she draws have evolved over time to look more human ( sort of). Beautiful photos as per #PoCoLo
Thank you Luci – she has so many faces, love the concentrating one π
Aww! What a great monster!!
She seems so creative!!
#PoCoLo
She does love colouring, sticking and painting. She does a fair bit at nursery and at home when we can’t get outdoors π
She’s not just a pretty face is she?! Love the monster and that she sees herself as egg-shaped – there was a song once that had the line “Happiness is egg-shaped” so I think that’s a good way to be! Lovely photos and great monster! #PoCoLo
