POD has long been a fan of Kate and Mim-Mim on CBeebies. It tells the story of five year old Kate and her toy bunny, Mim-Mim, who travel to the land of Mimiloo where Mim-Mim comes to becomes a larger than life playmate. Being a bit of an explorer herself, POD always enjoys the fantastic trips this duo has. But the introduction of this new Mim-Mim plush toy means she can have her own adventures with Mim-Mim too.
Flair has launched the interactive Magic Twirl Mim-Mim Plush (RRP £29.99) which brings this popular bunny to life. Designed for children from the age of three upwards, Mim-Mim is approximately 49cm high. The Magic Twirl Mim-Mim Plush really resembles the CBeebies TV show and POD was thrilled to discover it has a twirl and chant feature. Just like the show, POD spun around with Mim-Mim and was thrilled to hear him say “Kate and Mim-Mim me and you, let’s twirl away to Mimiloo”. As you can imagine she did this several times with Mim-Mim before disappearing to show him the garden!
As well as the twirl and chant feature, the Mim-Mum plush also has a number of other well-known phrases from the show – such as “hugs always make me happy”, “wow-wee WOW’, “look at me, I’m Super-Mim”, “I’m so happy”, “yayyy”, “jumping jellybeans” and my personal favourite – “I love being purple”. All you have to do to activate these is to press Mim-Mim’s tummy! POD wasn’t told Mim-Mim was interactive (batteries are included by the way) so it was wonderful to see her expressions as she discovered each of his features. As well as the interactive element, Mim-Mim’s ears have metal inside so they can be bent in different directions, his goggles can be undone and POD loved cuddling him too. We accidentally discovered he is great when airborne too – good catching practice! One thing’s for sure, POD will be having lots of adventures in Mimiloo!
