Hello everyone, welcome to week #63 of the Black and White Photography Project. Thank you so much to those of you that joined in last time.
This weekend we spent time with these gentle giants as part of Elephant Appreciation Weekend. Whipsnade Zoo’s Elephantastic event raises money for international science and ZSL’s Asian elephant conservation and research projects. These elephants are classified as Endangered by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

That photo is stunning, I adore elephants and we are big fans of Whipsnade Zoo
What a great event to host at Whipsnade Zoo, and I bet it was magical to see these gentle giants lumbering along. What brilliant photography, and the second shot of the elephant, where you can see the freckles (is that what you call them?!) on his trunk is gorgeous!
Hope you had a lovely day
xx
Thanks for hosting
I was looking for photography link-ups today and was really excited to find yours, especially as it meant I discovered your lovely blog too! You definitely have a new follower here 🙂
