What with POD’s gymnastics, drama and swimming classes, there’s regularly a need to recharge while on the move. More often that not it’s a case of grabbing a bottle of water and a banana although the two do get separated at times. We’ve lost a few bottles in the past and find ourselves scrabbling for change to purchase water from a vending machine. But those clever folk at Character Options have devised an innovative means of keeping POD’s drink and snack together. Snackeez is genius! It’s a cup with a flip top container for snacks so it’s perfect for days out, classes and for use in the car too.
The Snackeez cup can hold plenty of liquid (up to 450ml) and it has a chunky straw so it’s easy to drink from. The snack pot fits snugly into the top with the 115ml portion size large enough to satisfy a hungry five year old’s need for energy. We’ve primarily used ours for fruit – from melon and grape to apple, banana and strawberries. Cucumber and carrot are other favourites. It will no doubt come in handy for managing portion sizes for treats such as chocolate or crisps. Or cheese which POD has a particular fondness for. The lid snaps shut and has a tight seal so we’ve not had any leakages – it’s easy for POD to open and close herself too. The overall cup is larger than average, as you’d expect with it being a 2-in-1, POD found it easy to hold as there’s a rubber grip in the middle.
She’s going to be beside herself when she sees the Frozen, Shopkins and Star Wars branded Snackeez Junior in the autumn! These have slightly smaller cups with designs from these hit films as well as top girls collectable Shopkins! Snackeez will be at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC (16th-19th June) so if you’re heading there, do go and have a look. We’re already huge fans!
