Aside from photographing POD, this has been the week for looking up and capturing what’s above. Photographs of buildings never appear as symmetrical as I’d like but working in London more frequently will no doubt rectify that. There’s a lack of blooms this week but the wonderful blue skies make up for it!
Welcome to Project 365: Week #24.
Day 160
We ventured into Guildford town centre today as POD needed shoes. We were hoping to take the towpath route but it remains closed after the storm damage – open soon hopefully. There were a few delights to be found in town though like this building
and the bell above the cobbled high street.
Day 161
POD did brilliantly at gymnastics but her listening ears were on sabbatical. After seeing the doctor about her eczema, she was impeccably behaved in the garden. The two of us set off to go (pretend) camping, using this flower as a torch, before reading Mr Men books in her tent.
Day 162
In London all day today. I took this photograph with my mobile at Waterloo station while waiting for a train.
Day 163
Working from home today. Spotted one of these pretty humbug-like snails nestled in a Red Hot Poker.
Day 164
Another glorious day, another opportunity to look up – this time to capture the skies of London. This clock looked immense with it’s blue backdrop
as did this building. Both photographs were taken in Clerkenwell Road.
Day 165
It’s not been a good week for POD going to sleep – or staying asleep for that matter. She’d normally be at nursery on Friday but she was at home today after her eczema kept her awake. Painting and bubbles were a great distraction
as was running off with Mummy’s lolly! This is the “I’m not doing anything wrong” face.
We’re in Sussex on Saturday so it’s a slightly shorter one this week. What have you been up to?
Some beautiful building shots. I love the one of the station. The photo of POD eating the lolly is very cute, she has a proper cheeky look on her face! I hope her eczema is settling down again now.
Love the photo at Waterloo station – stunning. Painting and bubbles are always a good distraction, and the cheeky face after stealing your ice lolly is just gorgeous. #365
Kitty is sat here looking at these with me, the high pitched ‘POPPPPYYYYY’ in my ear was a bit hardcore!
Looks like you have had a busy week – enjoy Sussex xx
I love the photo at waterloo station, brilliant view. I think the blowing bubbles photo has to be my favourite though, hope you have a fab time whatever you are doing today x
Stunning pics as always.
I love that 164 photo – looks like a cross stitch sky with those vapour trails #365
I love where the snail was hiding
I do like taking shots of buildings, and train stations are always good subjects. Love POD’s expression eating the lolly 🙂
Love the ‘I’m not doing anything wrong’ face! Your photos of buildings are fantastic.
Hehe love Pods “not doing anything” face. Little Z is a stickler for ice lollies and will gladly run away with someone elses if needs be. That snail she’ll is beatiful and looks brilliant contrasted against the yellow.
awww honey i do hope POD’s eczema settles down soon! stunning photos Charly as usual xx
I love the snail photo, it does look pretty (even if they are completely demolishing my plants at the moment!)
Lovely pictures! You don’t usually see snails in Rod Hot Pokers! I love the bubbles picture of POD. Have a lovely day x #BetterPhotosProject
The gorgeous clear skies make every photo stunning
Gorgeous photos of buildings, lovely against the blue sky. Love the shot of the snail in the red hot poker and the bubble photo is lovely. POD does have a ‘who me?’ face in the last photo 🙂
Britain really can have beautiful dramatic skies so it does pay to look up. I like your focus points on the buildings. It captures their character so well.
