There have been lots of discussions around pets in the Dove household over recent months. POD asked for a dog several times a day in the lead up to her Christmas Day birthday. Thankfully we didn’t crumble as she received a rather splendid toy one that barks, walks and has a lead so she’s happy. One of her best chums getting a real puppy was the icing on the cake. POD loves cats too and there are plenty in our road for her to chat to. She knows she’ll never have one of her own, as we’re allergic to them, but that’s what makes the Pet Parade Play Garden from Flair a little bit special. And it’s provided POD with the opportunity to perfect her rather superb miaowing skills!
Given POD’s love of toys that allow her to interact and let her imagination run wild, the Flair Pet Parade Play Garden seemed like it would probably be a hit. But actually she adores this set as its been played with almost every day since it arrived! Designed for girls aged 4 to 8, Pet Parade offers a range of kitten breeds that have a series of playsets and accessories which is ideal for pet loving POD. It was easy to put together, all we had to do was to attach the cat flap, ball and budgie cage. There was also a fish shaped sticker for the collar of POD’s kitten.
She received a Blue Persian kitten which, like the rest of the range, can walk when pulled along by its leash. It can also move its eyes and wag its tail just by pressing a joystick button on its back. There are 8 breeds of kitten to collect in all with the collection including Grey Chartreux, Grey Siberian, Black Cat, White Shorthair, White Persian, Siamese and a Red Siberian. There’s even an exclusive online Pet Parade Club you can join too.
The kittens have a magnetised mouth so as well as being pulled along by a leash, they can explore the Pet Parade Play Garden. POD loves attaching the kitten to the fountain so it can watch the fish, before having an itch on the scratching post and chasing a mouse through the cat flap. The kitten’s dinner bowl is also magnetised and there’s a wool ball to play with as well. The bird cage hasn’t been pounced on too often although POD likes the kitten to stretch for it while she’s in her comfy bed. Another favourite is rummaging through the rubbish bin with its removable lid for bones. POD is rather taken by this set, aside from playing with it regularly, she’s taken the kitten to bed with her a couple of times! I suspect she’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of the Flair Pet Parade Play Garden for some time to come.
