The B&W Photography Project | Week #73

Hello everyone, welcome to week #73 of the Black and White Photography Project. Thank you so much to those of you that joined in last time.

This week has been a bit bananas but we managed to escape last weekend for some much needed cobweb blowing. This little one seems to be growing up so fast, especially since she started school in September. I’m not sure where those legs came from and I really can’t believe she’ll be five on Christmas Day. Where does the time go?

The Alphabet Project | J is for joker

Welcome to the Alphabet Photography Project and letter J! Thank you to everyone that joined in last week.

Given it’s POD’s 5th birthday a month today (yes that is Christmas Day!), it seemed only right she featured. She’s got such a great character but like most children her age, she’s definitely a bit of a joker too!

The magnificent Devil’s Punch Bowl

Providing a gateway to the Surrey Hills, Hindhead Commons and the Devil’s Punch Bowl is as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Managed by the National Trust, it’s a great place to explore with a myriad of footpaths and waymarked trails at varying levels of difficulty. The natural amphitheatre is breath taking displaying slopes covered with heath, streams and woodland. If you’re lucky you might even spot the wild ponies or cattle that reside there. We didn’t catch them on this occasion but we have many times in the past.

This week I’ve been tinkering with pretty blooms. Vibrant flowers that look so distinctive and strangely colourful in monochrome. It’s funny how that happens isn’t it?

The Alphabet Project | I is for ice-cream

Welcome to the Alphabet Photography Project and letter I! Thank you to everyone that joined in last week.

Although the weather is most definitely on the turn, this week I thought I’d share a photograph from late Summer. I was wandering through Covent Garden and stopped to grab an ice-cream from Morelli’s. Located in the piazza it’s one of the those places you just can’t walk past without going in!
