Marvel Studios’ iconic shield landed in London to mark the launch of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, exclusively available on Disney+. Through the power of projection mapping, Captain America’s legendary shield appeared on The London Eye in the UK, the Singapore Flyer, the Melbourne Star, the Luneur 1953 Flywheel in Rome, La Grande Roue de Marseille, MAAG Hall in Zurich, the Torre Latino in Mexico City and the Planetario in Buenos Aires.

The Disney+ streaming service is brilliant for this as there are thousands of films, shorts and originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic to choose from. Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year (I know, I know!) so as well as all the Pixar movies available on Disney+, they are celebrating all things Pixar.

POD had carefully opened the white box and peeled back the tissue paper to reveal Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Eeyore, Simba, Bambi and one of the dalmatians. There was a squeal before she announced she adored them all.
We all know The Tale of Peter Rabbit, the adventurous but somewhat mischievous hero created by Beatrix Potter. The book was an instant bestseller when it was originally published in 1901 and it continues to delight generations of readers.
Being huge fans of PJ Masks, we were thrilled to hear about the arrival of Season 2. It airs on Disney Junior from Wednesday 28th March at 4.30pm. To celebrate the forthcoming launch we got to have a peek at the first couple of episodes and have our own PJ Masks themed viewing party. You may remember we hosted one of these parties last year.
Six year old POD has seen videos of Jonnie Peacock MBE win Gold in the T44 Men’s 100 metres at London 2012 and again in the 2016 Rio Paralympics Games. She knows he got poorly and lost his leg below the knee when he was five but went on to be one of the fastest athletes on the planet. His time on Strictly meant she got to see him learn a new dance every week and with that came a new line of questioning. We talked about Jonnie Peacock a lot over those eight weeks, not just when Strictly was on, and we continue to do so. It’s unlikely we would have had the same in depth discussions about amputees had he not been on the programme.
Having met Owlette at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo just a few days earlier, six year old POD was really looking forward to the PJ Masks Halloween Party. It promised to bring lots of surprises and she hoped this would include a visit from her heroes too. PJ Masks is a hit TV series on Disney Junior which is based on the Les Pyjamasques book series by Romuald Racioppo. It tells the story of three six year old friends (Connor, Amaya and Greg) who by day live normal lives. After dark however, Amaya becomes Owlette, Connor becomes Catboy and Greg becomes Gekko.
Six year old POD loves the element of surprise and the new L.O.L Surprise! dolls provide exactly that. Not dissimilar to the excitement children have when playing Pass the Parcel, this collectable Series 2 range has five layers to unwrap.
