Saturday was a busy day what with gymnastics and a family swim all before lunchtime. POD had asked to go swimming for days and although it wasn’t overly successful initially, she had a ball in the end. Following a spot of sofa hugging, where she barely moved she was so tired, the POD Father brought out a pizza making kit.
This could have spelled disaster but instead it produced the most wonderful selection of joyous photographs. She’s not one for looking at the camera but on this occasion was proud to show every step from making the dough, to adding the tomato paste and her topping. The end result wasn’t quite what we anticipated taste wise but what a fantastic time she had.

What fantastic fun and it looks like you got some yummy results. Tin Box Tot loves cooking and I think I get more good photos of her doing that than anything else. A part from when she waves her floury hands at me and wants to see the shots I’ve taken! #mycapturedmoment
Looks like she had fun! Mine love making their own pizzas, the list of toppings are endless and rather quite random sometimes!!!
Gorgeous photos! And she looks pretty pleased with her finished pizza! #mycapturedmoment
Ah, she looks so, so happy! Lots of fun 🙂
The kids recently baked pizzas with the chef at Pizza Express and they had a fabulous time. Such a lovely hands on activity for kids
They look like they are enjoying it so much! Nothing quite like getting stuck in. x
Wow she really looks like she had a great time! great activity for this time of the year!
A great set of pictures, it looks like she is having a ball! A great Captured Moment xx
POD is adorable, we love maing pizza too although I cheat and make the dough in the breadmaker
She is just gorgeous and it is so much fun when you can find the time to let them have a great time in the kitchen. We always make the dough in the breadmaker too
Looks like she had fun making that, who doesn’t love to make a homemade pizza? Delicious!
Can’t help but smile with POD, she obviously thoroughly enjoyed what she was doing. You really have captured the moment!
What a great sequence of photos, Charly – natural and charming. It’s always fun when the kids are willing to get involved in the kitchen. (Although I’m less keen on the cleaning up afterwards …)
Arr what lovely pictures, POD looks like she was having so much fun, pizza making is great and delicious to eat at the end! x #MyCapturedMoment
We love making pizzas on the weekend too!! These pictures are gorgeous, did you use your new camera? I love the look on her face, the concentration is obvious in the first ones and then pride and joy in the last few ones. Thank you as always for linking up #MyCapturedMoment xxx
Oh such lovely, happy photos – I love joy from simple pleasures like this, it can’t be beaten!
This looks like so much fun! My wife and I lived abroad with a tiny kitchen and without an oven for so long that I almost forgot about pizza making. It’s so easy to forget about these types of fun things and I bet for a younger person, it’s gotta be awesome! I know I enjoyed making pizzas with my mom back in the day. Thanks for sharing this awesome memory:)
