The B&W Photography Project | Week #11

Thank you to everyone that joined in with the Black and White Photography Project over the past few days. One of the things I love is that it’s made me photograph things I wouldn’t do normally. Like capture the graffiti in a London skate park!

How to join in

To join in with the Black & White Photography Project, just link up a short post, with or without words, featuring a black and white photograph. You can link up a collection of black and white photographs too if you prefer. The photograph/s can be from any time – old and new are welcome. You’ll find a post on how to create better black and white photographs here.

Share your photo on Instagram using #bwphotoproject (PODcast is here). You can also share your posts and photos in the B&W Photography Project Facebook Group.

The Black and White Photography Project runs every Sunday. The Linky is live from that day through to Saturday. If you include a link back to PODcast or the blog badge I’ll happily share your post for you.

I love how you’ve captured the dynamics of the graffiti even through black and white. I like the contrast of colors it has created. Somehow it’s lack of color makes it more stunning and sharp. Thank you for another lovely Sunday!

This works really well in black and white. I wouldn’t have thought to take an image of graffiti in B&W but it has caught the environment well.

Oh wow would never have thought of grafitti in black and white – it really makes it stand out and brings out the contrasts. Fabulous photo.

I think it’s almost beautiful in black and white, where in colour I think graffiti is pretty ugly! This looks like more South Bank so hope you were able to shoot these without too many people whizzing past you!

The great thing about pictures like this in black and white is they allow you to use your imagination to think about the actual bright colours that would have been #bwphotoproject

I find graffiti fascinating and really love the clarity of black and white. I recently took some shots of reverse graffiti…. I should have shared that instead! 🙂

Wow! That first one especially is amazing… and a little bit scary! xx

Great shots – the B&W really allows you to appreciate the layers and the work involved in such a disposable art form.

    Great link as always.

Graffiti done well is wonderful isn’t it. I just hate the train journey into Marylebone where buildings have been randomly tagged!

    Some amazing artwork there!

The graffiti in black and white looks really effective – almost 3-D. I hope all is well – haven’t heard from you in ages! X
