The B&W Photography Project | Week #10

Thank you to everyone that joined in with the Black and White Photography Project over the past week.

I’ve spent more time wandering along the Southbank on my journey to and from work. I love the contrast between the quiet mornings and the buzz of the evening. This photograph of the London Eye was taken at 8am when there was hardly a soul around.

At the end of the working day, if you’re lucky you’ll see the sun setting above the Thames as you walk over Blackfriars Bridge. Capturing the orange sky and the glittery reflections on the water always proves too tempting to resist. It’s a distraction especially when there are gems like this and the surrounding architecture to photograph too.

Welcome to the Black and White Photography Project | Week #10.

How to join in

To join in with the Black & White Photography Project, just link up a short post, with or without words, featuring a black and white photograph. You can link up a collection of black and white photographs too if you prefer. The photograph/s can be from any time – old and new are welcome. You’ll find a post on how to create better black and white photographs here.

Share your photo on Instagram using #bwphotoproject (PODcast is here). You can also share your posts and photos in the B&W Photography Project Facebook Group.

The Black and White Photography Project runs every Sunday. The Linky is live from that day through to Saturday. If you include a link back to PODcast or the blog badge I’ll happily share your post for you.

Great photo of the London Eye – very striking. Where was the last photo taken – I feel like I should recognise it but can’t think where it is?

The Southbank is a wonderful place and often forgotten about by Londoners which somehow makes it even better (says a Londoner!)

Great photos – more memories being brought back for me of my years in South London (all pre-London Eye mark-you). Is that last shot a new development around the old Greenwich power station?

Thanks for Linky – great as always.

Beautiful – I quite often walk along the Southbank on my journey to work, and it is one of the most beautiful areas in central London I think. I should definitely take my camera with me sometime.
