Thank you to everyone that joined in with the Black & White Photography Project last week, such an array of wonderful images. I don’t know about you but monochrome is SO addictive – I can’t stop tinkering! This photograph of the London Eye was taken early in the morning on the way to work when there was barely a soul around.
This week you can read about Ansel Adams. An inspirational photographer with a love for black and white.
How to join in
It’s really easy to get involved with the Black & White Photography Project. Just link up a short post, with or without words, featuring a black and white photograph. You can also link up a collection of black and white photographs if you prefer. The photograph/s can be from any time – new and old images are welcome.
If you don’t fancy linking up a post you can play on Instagram using #bwphotoproject (PODcast is here). You can also share your posts and photos in the Black & White Photography Project Facebook Group.
When?
The Black and White Photography Project runs every Sunday. The Linky is open every week from Sunday through to Saturday. If you include a link back to PODcast I’ll happily share your post for you.

What an amazing photo, I love the structure, thank you for think linkie x
Black and white photography is great at capturing metal isn’t it? I love the way you’ve focused off centre to bring in some sky.

Great shot!
I much prefer to see images like this opposed to seeing the whole thing – I think it makes for a more interesting shot. Black and white does it justice.
Feel slightly dizzy looking at it though. 🙂 x
Gorgeous pictures, great against the clear sky.
Great detail. Like this type of photo, where you have to stop a sec and figure out what you are seeing. Emm
Love that photo. B&w always makes me focus on the detail.
[…] The linky is to link up one (or more) black and white photographs each week. They can be new or old, as long as they are black and white. If you would like to join in go to https://podcastdove.com/2014/07/20/blackandwhitephotographyprojectweek2/ […]
Love this shot! …That it’s just part of the whole makes it extra fantastic.
I love this shot, it really does capture the beauty of the structure.
Great subject for B&W, definitely makes the eye focus on the detail of the structure. I like the use of space in the composition too – makes it feel big and airy, and not cramped 🙂
Lovely photo – much more striking in black and white and just photographing part of the structure makes for a much more interesting photo too. The structure really stands out against the sky.
I love the perspective and the detail in this photo. It makes the ordinary looks a bit more extraordinary.
Thank you for hosting!

Amazing picture Charley. Looked fabulous in colour but so striking in black and white. Joined in this week but it was a simple switch from colour to b & w with barely any ‘tinkering’ – need to get on it!
love this project Charly! makes me work harder on my monochromatic 😉
Wonderful picture, I always think there is more atmosphere in B&W pictures x
I love this, its so atmospheric. I love going to places that are usually very busy when its very quiet.
