The B&W Photography Project | Week #60

Hello everyone, welcome to week #60 of the Black and White Photography Project. Thank you so much to those of you that joined in last time.

This week I thought I’d share a few of the wonderful beach huts from West Wittering in Sussex. We escaped there last weekend to make the most of the glorious temperatures. West Wittering is one of the the premier Blue Flag beaches in the country so I was glad we arrived early and grabbed a prime spot by the sand dunes. And escaped before the masses did!

I associate these beach huts with bright coloured doors and their garishness so I’m surprised to see them working so beautifully in monochrome. I think you notice how different each one is more so in monochrome, and the use of different woods etc.
Beautiful lighting. I LOVE this photo – it makes me smile!

Great photo – we were at West Wittering in the summer and loved it. Great beach, clean sea and the beach huts were a pretty, colourful backdrop 🙂
