Thank you to everyone that joined in with the Black & White Photography Project last week. There were so many great photographs and I love that we’ve all become guilty of monochrome tinkering.
This week there’s a post on inspirational British photographer Nick Brandt. Born in 1966 and raised in London, he photographs exclusively in Africa. His goal to record the wild animals and landscape before its destroyed. He captured what he saw in a way that had not been achieved before – a trilogy of photographic books.
We spent time with my mum and one of my brothers in Watford Park last Sunday. I love this photograph of POD running down a hill although the contrast in this image from the miniature railway is better. It’s difficult to choose a sign over POD though!

Both photos are great – the one of POD running down the hill is just lovely but agree that the contrast in the miniature railway sign photo is better. The monochrome gives such harshness to the fencing in the second photo due to the starkness of the contrast and makes it very striking.
I can see why you choose POD over a sign, it is full of life. I love pictures of the back of kids, it leaves much to the imgaination. Mich x

Both photos are equally exquisite! I love the image of your little girl. For a still, it shows her graceful movement well. From her dress to her hair, it’s quite captivating.

My favourite of the two is Pod – wonderful how her dress is billowing and creating a contrast to the grass
