Last month we visited Peppa Pig World for the first time. We told POD we were going the night before which in hindsight wasn’t the wisest move given how excited she was. She was beside herself when we arrived announcing she loved it when we’d barely left the car park!
First stop was Madam Gazelle’s School House where we had an official photograph taken with Peppa, George, Suzy Sheep and of course Madam Gazelle herself. It’s a brilliant photograph that just epitomised the day.
POD loved being in Peppa’s home too and would have joined her ‘friends’ for dinner if she could. She stood watching them for a time and had to be dragged away!
POD embraced the characters at Peppa Pig World – Zoe Zebra got a lot of attention
as did Suzy Sheep. She’d run to both like they were a long lost friends!
POD brought ‘little Peppa’ with her and waited patiently to see Peppa and George so she could show her to them.
Thankfully we got to see not just Peppa but George too.
There are numerous rides at Peppa Pig World and we really were spoilt for choice. From Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter ride,
to Daddy Pig’s Car Ride
(where POD got to drive!),
the Windy Castle ride
and George’s Dinosaur Adventure. There was also Peppa Pig’s Balloon ride and Grandpa Pig’s train too.
Once we’d investigated Pedro Pony’s photo booth where POD got to have her photo taken in Daddy Pig’s car, we explored some of Paulton’s Park. There’s a wonderful double decker carousel that POD absolutely loved.
She even gave the horse she rode a kiss before she left!
Nearby there’s an impressive collection of topiary including a horse and carriage, a chimney sweep and a leaping lion with its tamer. The numerous gardens at Paulton’s Park are wonderful too. The snakes and ladders garden is simply fabulous
with the African Garden including many surprises – like these two topiary elephants.
We had the most amazing day and POD was unsurprisingly asleep before we’d even left the car park. She’s asked if we can go again about 412 times.
