Project 365: Week #7

The past week saw us visit Brooklands Museum – the home of motor racing and aviation. POD got the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a Hawker Hurricane and we saw Concorde too.

The walk from Waterloo to Farringdon has been far more preferable than the London Underground this week. Just a few joggers around in the early morning coupled with the sound of seagulls circling overhead. Every now and again this route coincides with the tide being out too. It’s rather nice walking on a ‘beach’ before work and seeing if you can spot any pretty shells.

There’s been a fair amount of rain which has provided ample opportunity capture some raindrops. POD had her butterfly stitches removed on Friday too. Thankfully her eyelid is healing as it should which is such a huge relief!

Welcome to Project 365: Week #7.

the rain drops on the end of the plants are great, love the view of the leaves through them.
Like the peaceful looking beach view, and the serene picture as she leans on the plane’s wheel.
    The museum sounds like fun.

Loving the street art and the raindrops. It must be lovely to walk along the ‘beach’ by the Thames. Intrigued by the sign that says ‘Hammersmith’ – I used to live and work there, so it has a special place in my heart!

I love that little beach on the Thames, so unexpected but perfect to remind people of nature right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of London. Brilliant photo of the graffiti, I love decent street art. Hope Pod’s eye is healing nicely, poor girl.

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

Wonderful photos and the Guildford one made me chuckle. I made a point of photographing the Aldershot garage door as we lived near there as kids. #365
