It’s been a week of change with beautiful sunny days and relentless downpours. We fitted in a little fun with the working week providing a real mixed bag of photographs. POD got her first bike as an early birthday/Christmas present too.
Welcome to Project 365: Week #35.
Day 236
Today we got to walk along the towpath near Dapdune Wharf which is managed by the National Trust. It’s been closed since the storms earlier this year which saw the River Wey burst its banks on several occasions. It looks like a lot of the path has had to be completely rebuilt and once again it’s a fabulous place to walk.
POD had a great time collecting ‘magic wands’
and we even saw a dragonfly!
Day 237
Visited Portsmouth for the first time today and discovered it’s not very far away. We didn’t stay long though having got very wet! POD did get to have a dance in the rain though, much to her delight!
Day 238
Working from home today. It was so dark the lights stayed on all day, had to nip out when the downpours stopped though!
This looks really strange but it’s a dewy web I spotted just above our doormat!
Day 239
In London for the rest of the week from today. Past this amazing shop one evening, looks like there are all sorts of gems to be found in there! Their window display was beautiful.
Day 240
Having spent part of the day looking down whilst visiting potential party venues (with incredible views), this is a photograph of looking up the Royal Opera House atrium.
Day 241
One of the perks of leaving the house early – an amazing sunrise on the walk to the station.
Day 242
Today POD got her first bicycle, an early Christmas/birthday present from Grandma. She seemed to master the concept of pedaling in the shop although her steering still needs a bit of work. She was a bit weary by the time we arrived back home!
Lots of lovely outdoor photos, love the dewy web and the dragonfly!
