POD is loving the new Classic Peppa Pig range – you may remember we recently reviewed the laughing Peppa and the Air Peppa Jet. As a life-long fan of Peppa, George and the gang, she was thrilled to receive Princess Peppa’s Enchanting Tower which comes with its own detailed figure of Princess Peppa!
Also from Character Options, Princess Peppa’s Enchanting Tower really is a must have for Peppa Pig fan POD. She might like climbing trees when she’s outdoors but she’s a girly girl that loves nothing more than playing make believe. She has the most amazing imagination and the ability to turn toys that encourage pretend play into something quite special! The Princess Peppa’s Enchanting Tower set (RRP £24.99) is for age 3 upwards and available from Smyths along with the rest of the Peppa Pig range.
This set pretty much comes as it is – all you need to do is attach the flag and the balcony. The Princess Peppa Enchanting Tower also comes with a magic mirror, a bed, ballroom steps and the detailed Princess Peppa figure. POD loves these articulated yet familiar characters as she can adapt the arms and legs to suit the situation. The inside of the tower is wonderfully detailed and brightly coloured too with plenty of room for little hands to move around. Then entire set closes together with an easy to use catch so it’s simple to store and takes up half the space.
POD’s story was initially focused on Princess Peppa and her tower. We heard how she loved being a Princess, what she liked to do and which balls she had coming up. This approach was short-lived however as there was a knock on the door from the evil twin brothers – masquerading as two civilian Peppa Pig characters (not part of the tower set).
Waiting patiently at the swivel door, Princess Peppa decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and let them in. But it soon became apparent they were mischief makers sent to cause trouble! Princess Peppa, being experienced at dealing with tricksters, chased them around the tower until at last they escaped!
Having politely asked her servants to help her tidy up the tower, normality returned. Princess Peppa was relieved she’d been able to save the day and remained Princess of all the land. With the tower back in good order, she relaxed in her room for a time before going to bed – it had been a long but very satisfying day.
