We recently spent some time in the wonderful city of Ghent in Belgium. You’ll be able to read more about it on POD Travels soon but it the meantime I thought I’d share a few photographs from the Great Butcher’s Hall. Located in Groentenmarkt 7, it dates back to the 15th century when meat halls were indoor market places so the freshness and quality of meat could be monitored. The building is amazing and has an open wooden truss roof with Ghent’s special Garda Hams hanging from the ceiling.
The Black and White Photography Project is a really simple project to get involved with – just link up any monochrome photograph. With words or without, it’s entirely up to you. Your images don’t need to be from the past week either so you can pick and choose what you want to share. If you new to black and white photography, check out these tips which will give you a steer on what you can do. Most important is just having fun with it! Don’t forget you can also share your photograph on Instagram using #bwphotoproject – or just join in there if you prefer.
What amazing photos. They really are striking in black and white. xx
